【摘要】
Arnold defined three basic invariants of planar curves. The motivation is from Vassiliev's knot invariants of finite type. We construct a polynomial invariant of planar curves via skein relations. Connections to Arnold's invariants will be discussed. This is a joint work in progress with Zhiyun Cheng and Tianyu Yuan.
